These two templates help providers to keep track of a patient’s current medications and allows providers to easily order new prescriptions for the patient.
The Current Medication screen is used to prescribe and manage patient medications during an encounter. The screen also supports medication favorites, medication order sets, CSA tracking, medication status management, clinical summary acknowledgement, encounter-based start dates, and saving medication sets. Providers can save medications, print prescriptions, review all current medications, post medications to the dashboard, save medication order sets, and check medication history directly from the screen.
