Managing Claims through Claims Status Dashboard

This screen is designed to show appointments that were not created into encounters, encounters not created into claims, claims by status and days outstanding, and claims that patients owe.

  1. Click Billing on the main menu.

  2. Click Claim Status Dashboard.

  3. Select a date range and click Apply.

  4. Click on Not Entered encounters to see the list of encounters so to see a list of encounters below that have not been billed (no claim created).

  1. Click on the encounter in the table to open the superbill and work on it. Selecting Finalize and Close or click (X) close button in the upper right side of the screen. If the encounter is not billable, then select the status of non billable.

  2. Click on the Ins Claim button to see the list of claims.

  3. Click on a claim to open the claim.

  4. When you have fixed the claim, make sure to approve it and add it to a batch.

  5. Then click the X in the upper right corner of the screen to close the claim and go back to the list.
