PlanSets are used to save groups of commonly used templates, orders, prescriptions, services, and diagnoses so they can be quickly added during a patient visit

Please follow these steps:

  1. Enter a Planset name and click on the Save Planset button or select an existing one from the dropdown box next to Planset.
  2. Click the Task Setup tab.
  3. Select the Planset you created from the drop box next to Planset
  4. Select the name of the template from the drop-down box next to Dynamic Template.
  5. Complete the fields and value or type text you want to default. Then Click Save. After that Click the X button at the top right-hand corner to close the screen and return back.
  6. Click Chief Complaints tab and then click Open Chief Complaints button. Add the values to the fields if needed or you can skip if you don’t want to add chief complaints to the planset. Once done click Save to Plan Set button. After that Click the X button at the top right-hand corner to close the screen and return back.
  7. Click orders tab and then click Open Orders button and select lab orders and billing codes you want to default. Click Save Planset. After that Click the X button at the top right-hand corner to close the screen and return back.
  8. Click diagnosis tab and then click open diagnosis and add any defaulting diagnosis. Then click save and click the X button at the top right-hand corner to close the screen and return back
  9. Open a patient note and select Planset to select this new planset.
