Clicking on Registration on the main menu shows menu tabs for Patient Demographics, Payer Details, Contacts, Health Records, Attach Documents, Care Team and Appointment.
The Patient Demographics has 3 more tabs under it: Demographics, Other Details and Student Details.
These are key features:
- Any changes to names are saved in the last updated name field.
- Any new patient with the same last name of any other patient will open a screen to display other patients to prevent duplicate patients from being added.
- City, State and Zip code has been combined together for ease of entry.
- Verify button checks the address against the USPS database. If the fields are blank, it means that there is no address matching the entered information.
- 4 more digits support 9 digit zip codes.
- Stage 2 MU check box will require language, race and ethnicity to be selected to save or update patient demographics.
- Notification methods have been moved to this screen and works if you have notification service activated.
- Default payment case can be set on this screen, which sets which insurance is used for claims unless changed in an appointment.
- Contacts are used for referring physicians and primary care physicians.
