The Services screen allows services to be added or managed. Enabledoc can turn off the master CPT list, so that an organization can enter a custom list of CPTS or services. This will remove the thousands of CPTs from the view and only show your own CPTS.
You can also use the complete list of CPTS and add your own custom services. Once a service is added, it can then be priced under Pricing Management.
Filter Services
Existing services can be searched by service, name, description, and LOINC code. Search in the relevant search box and click outside the search box after typing, this will display all the Services matching that search query. To view all services after searching, remove the searched text from the search box and click out of the box again, this will now display all the services again.
The list of services displayed on this screen can also be filtered by selecting Click Here To Filter and selecting a category, and/or subcategory. Click Search to view results of the filter. To filter again, click Clear Filter.
Add and Edit a Service
To edit an existing service, select the service from the list and click the Edit link at the top of the screen.
To add a new service, click the New button at the top of the screen. This screen will appear:
Enter the following Service Details:
Active: Checking this box will mark the service as active and cause it to be available for use on the Enabledoc system. Unchecking this box will make this service unavailable on the system.
Service Name: Type the name of the new service.
CPT Code: Enter the CPT code
Category: Pick a category for the service from the drop-down menu
Subcategory: Pick a subcategory for the service from the drop-down menu
Type: Indicate the type of service.
NDC: Enter the National Drug Code associated with the service or medication, if applicable.
Loinc code: Enter the LOINC code.
Modifier 1: Enter the code of a modifier if desired
Modifier 2: Enter the code of a modifier if desired
Description: Type a description of the service
Note: Enter any additional comments
Mammography Cert No.: Enter the mammography certification number, if applicable.
CLIA Lab Number: Enter the CLIA laboratory number associated with the service or lab.
UPC Code: Enter the UPC code associated with the service or product, if applicable.
SNOMED Code: Enter the SNOMED code associated with the service or procedure.
Add to Night Report: Checking this box will allow the user to track all encounters using this CPT code and create a report.
Bill only to Patient: Checking this box bills the service directly to the patient only.
Bill to Employer: Checking this box bills the service to the employer.
Bill to Insurer: Checking this box bills the service to the insurance company.
Commission Rate: Enter the commission percentage applicable to the service.
Commission Amount: Enter a fixed commission amount for the service instead of a percentage.
Credits: Enter the number of credits assigned to the service, if applicable.
Membership Credits: Checking this box enables membership credits for the service.
Unlimited: Checking this box allows unlimited usage of membership credits for the service.
Income Tax: Checking this box applies income tax settings to the service.
Send To Interface: Checking this box sends the service information to configured external interfaces or systems.
Save: Click Save to save all completed fields. The new service can now be added to orders and Superbill. A price can then be set for the service (See Pricing Management).
Service Category
Add or Edit a Category
To add or edit a category, click on the Category button at the top of the screen.
To edit a category, click edit next to the category you want to edit.
To add a new category, fill in the following fields:
Active: Checking this box will mark this category as active and cause it to be available for use. Unchecking this box will make this category unusable.
Is Dental: Check this box to mark a category to be used for dental services.
Name: Type the name of the category.
Short name: If desired, type in a short name for the category.
New: Click New to clear all entered fields and enter a different category.
Save: Click Save to save all entered fields. The new category will appear in the list of categories below.
Filtering Categories:
Categories can be searched by filling in the Name or Short fields or by checking the Active box at the top of the list of categories. Write the name or short name you wish to search in the relevant search box and now click outside the box, this will show all the categories having the same string of characters. To view the entire list of categories after searching, remove the searched query from the search click and again click outside the box.
Service Subcategories
Add or Edit a Subcategory
To add or edit a subcategory, click on the Sub Category button at the top of the screen. This screen will appear:
To edit a subcategory, click Edit next to the subcategory you want to edit. To add a new subcategory, fill in the following fields:
Active: Checking this box will mark this subcategory as active and cause it to be available for use. Unchecking this box will make this subcategory unusable.
Name: Type the name of the new subcategory
Category: Select the category of the subcategory from the pull-down options.
Sub Category: The box next to the field (Sub Category is Parent) must be unchecked for a new subcategory to be created. The pull-down box is no longer in use.
Send In CDA: Checking this box includes the subcategory in CDA documents and electronic clinical data sharing.
New: Clicking New will cause all fields to be cleared. A new subcategory can be entered.
Save: Clicking Save will save all entered fields. The new subcategory will appear in the list below.

Import a Service
Services can be imported into the master list of services. To import a service, click Import at the top of the Service screen. This new screen will appear.
Import a Service
- Click the Import button in the top right-hand corner of the screen. If the user wishes to import all services currently displayed in the list, click the Import All link in the top right hand corner of the screen.
- Or else elect the check box next to the desired service in the list you wish to import and click on the Import link on the top right hand corner.
- If the importing is successful, a message box will appear with the message Imported.
Map Dental
If Dental is enabled as a default setting. This feature allows a dental service to be linked to a medical service. This makes billing for dental services easy and efficient. After clicking Map Dental, this screen will appear:
Link a Dental Service to a Medical Service
1. Select a dental service from the Dental Service pull down options
2. Select a service from the Service list by clicking the check box to the left of the service. Services can be filtered by CPT code or Service name. Just type the name of the service or the CPT code in the relevant search box and click outside the box, and the service will appear that matches the input. To turn off the filter, remove the search from the search box and click outside the box again.
3. Select one or more services to link to the dental service by clicking the check box to the left of the service.
4. Click the Save link located to the right under the service list. The linked services will appear in the list at the bottom of the screen.
Filter Linked Service
Linked services can be filtered by dental service or by Medical Service Name, Medical CPT, Dental Service Name, Dental CPT. Type part of the service name or CPT in one of the search boxes and click outside the search box, it will show all the matching services. Remove the searched query from the search box and again click outside the box to return the list back to its original state.
