Slots can be reserved for selected appointment visit types. For example, new patient appointments can be reserved for 1P to 2PM on Tuesdays. One or more visit type slots can be added per slot. To view the visit type slots, please check the Show Visit Type Slots check box after clicking Manage Filter button. Also select the visit type, appointment status and facility from the drop-down menus and then click on Update button. To create a visit type slot, the Employee setting of Override Appointment must be checked for the employee. Then click on the time and day for the Visit Type Slot.

To make an appointment for the visit type slot, click on the visit type slot and select Provider Appointment.
