Vital templates are also customizable per provider.  Multiple vital can be captured for one patient encounter by entering the time for each vital measurement.  BMI and BSA are automatically calculated.  These values appear in the medications screen and are used for dosage calculation and dosage range checking.  The values entered will appear in the note.

Features of the Vitals screen:

If a vital value is entered incorrectly, check the box next to the incorrect value and select the reason.  Click the save button to update the information.

Vital History:  Displays all the historical patient vitals.

Save: The Save button stores all entered or updated information on the screen. After saving, the Vitals button in the main menu will display a red background, indicating that the data has been successfully recorded.

Lock: Provides an indication of the vitals entered are finalized.
